What are the benefits of building a modular home?
You benefit from the assembly line production process because modular homes are built in a factory. Maximum efficiency is achieved, with skilled craftsman working on the assembly line in the factory. Quality control, reduced waste, and quicker completion time (30-90 days with modular vs. 5-12 months with stick built homes ) are all benefits of modular home construction.
The factories buy large amounts of lumber, sheet rock, carpet, paint, and other building supplies, paying less and passing the savings on to the consumer. Considering the labor, material and time savings associated with the modular home building process, the cost is gnerally lower than a stick built home. In addition, the work is not delayed by weather, subcontracor down time, or missing materials. Bad weather never touches the inside of your house.
